We install and service rooftop units (RTUs) from 2 to 25+ tons, commercial split systems, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, makeup air units, dedicated outdoor air systems (DOAS), exhaust fans, unit heaters, radiant tube heaters, and packaged equipment. Rooftop units are the workhorses of commercial HVAC. We install gas/electric, heat pump, and dual-fuel RTUs with economizers, staged or modulating heating and cooling, and building automation system (BAS) integration where applicable. We handle the full scope: structural curb installation, crane coordination for unit placement, gas piping, electrical connections, duct transitions, thermostat and controller wiring, and start-up commissioning with verified airflow measurements.
Makeup air is critical for any commercial space with kitchen exhaust hoods, paint booths, welding shops, or process exhaust. Without adequate makeup air, buildings run under negative pressure — doors are hard to open, exhaust systems underperform, and combustion appliances can backdraft dangerously. We size and install makeup air units with heating (gas-fired or electric) and optional cooling to maintain building pressure balance and code-compliant ventilation rates.
For industrial facilities — manufacturing plants, warehouses, agricultural processing, and mechanical shops — we install unit heaters (gas-fired and hydronic), radiant tube heaters for high-bay spaces, large exhaust systems, and evaporative cooling where appropriate. These spaces have unique challenges: high ceilings, open bay doors, dust and contaminant loads, and extreme internal heat gains from equipment. We design systems that account for these real-world conditions rather than applying residential rules of thumb to commercial problems.
Tenant improvement and build-out work is a significant part of our commercial business. When a new tenant moves into an existing shell, the HVAC system often needs modification — additional zones, rerouted ductwork, supplemental cooling for server rooms, or exhaust for commercial kitchens. We coordinate with general contractors, electricians, plumbers, and fire suppression trades to deliver the mechanical scope on schedule without holding up the rest of the project.

Commercial systems are larger, more complex, and must account for building codes around ventilation, exhaust, pressurization, and occupancy loads that residential systems don't address.
